Black Resilience/Black Perspective: I Matter/We Matter (An Exhibition/A Discussion)

About the Exhibition

In the face of present-day challenges of social and economic inequalities, the whitewashing of the teaching of Black History in the United States’ educational systems, the appropriation of and the vaguing of the lines defining Black culture and Black heritage, we honor, despite these modern-day tests, the daily and historical presence and resilience of black excellence. This is a call for art submissions for “Black Resilience/Black Perspective: I Matter/We Matter – An Art Exhibition/A Discussion We are seeking powerful artwork that speaks to what it means to be a part of the Black collective within the American perspective.
